Example Wedding Planning Checklist

Groom: Start thinking about what you want to wear. (Tuxedo? Suit? Ethnic attire?)
3-6 months before
Groom: If you are renting a tuxedo, decide on a style, get measured, and order the tuxedo. If you are buying something to wear, now is the time to buy it.
3-6 months before
Groom: If you don't already, take time to eat right and exercise to help you look and feel your best.
2-3 months before
Groom: Get any accessories you want to wear, such as cufflinks, shoes, handkerchief, shirt stays (they keep your shirt tucked in), suspenders, etc.
2-3 months before
Groom: If you're getting your hair cut before the wedding, schedule it for at least two weeks before.
2 weeks to 1 month before
Groom: If you know that any foods bother your complexion, stop eating them for the next few weeks.
2 weeks to 1 month before
Groom: If you haven't yet, pick up your clothing and make sure that everything fits right.

Groom: Collect everything you need to dress for the wedding.
