Example Wedding Planning Checklist
This is an example of the checklist that The Organized Wedding generates for a wedding and reception with no religions specified. (If you tell the wedding planning software that your wedding will be based on one or more faiths, it customizes the list to make it appropriate for the faith.) Of course, if you're planning other events, the wedding planning software automatically adds tasks to the list to help you with them too.
When you're actually running the wedding software, you can double-click on most of these tasks to see more information and advice. When you double-click on any task in the wedding planner software, you can change many aspects of the task, including:
- the due date
- the text of the task, including the more detailed notes
- the task category it belongs to
- assigning the task to a person
- setting an alarm -- telling the wedding software to remind you before the task is due.

This sample checklist assumes that you have 12 months to plan your wedding. If you have less time before your wedding, The Organized Wedding automatically compresses the checklist to fit into the time you have, even if that's weeks instead of months.
