If your wedding date is several months in the future, it's helpful to tell people who live out of town about the wedding early enough for them to plan for it. If you don't need to do that, you can delete the "Save-the-Dates" task category. |
Decide whether to mail save-the-date notices or call (or email) your out-of-town guests. |
If you're going to call your out-of-town guests instead of sending save-the-date notices, start calling! |
If you're going to send written save-the-date notices, choose a card or stationery design and order or buy it. |
Have an engagement photo taken, if you want to send one to the newspaper. |
Announce your engagement in the newspaper(s). |
Reserve a block of rooms at one or more hotels for out-of-town guests. |
You might want to cut out and save a copy of the engagement announcement when it appears in the newspaper. |
